Dr. Mark Dvorak

Chiropractor

Dr. Mark grew up in New Prague, MN. He is one of 11 children and has a passion for helping pregnant moms and raising healthy children. Between adjusting and continuing education, he enjoys playing with his toddler, walking his dogs with his wife, and playing outdoor sports. Mark attended high school in Jordan, MN, where, during his first varsity wrestling season, he suffered a head injury. He sought out chiropractic care, which led him to amazing results. This motivated him to learn more about the body when he attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout and achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science. After working in contracted healthcare positions, he decided to make a change in today’s healthcare and applied to chiropractic school. He graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University and now gets to “change the mindset of health” with Mindset Chiropractic.

When asked why he chose chiropractic school, he responded “I want to change the way we think about health and help people heal every day.”

Dr. Dvorak attained his Advanced Proficiency Certification of Torque Release Technique, and is certified in Webster Technique.

He is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is in the midst of becoming a fully ICPA certified member, which includes about 25 other chiropractors in Minnesota.

He continues to attend live weekly training sessions in Pediatric Care through The Pediatric Experience with Dr. Tony Ebel.

Our Techniques

Torque Release Technique

Torque Release Technique (TRT) is the most up-to-date and scientifically researched chiropractic technique that focuses on your nervous system. TRT focuses its attention to the strategic and vital connection points between the spinal cord and spinal column. Dr. Mark finds the exact point in the spine that requires an adjustment and utilizes a handheld instrument called the Integrator. The Integrator delivers a precise and gentle adjustment that changes the degree of tension in the central nervous system. This provides a safe and effective adjustment for all ages.

Diversified technique

Diversified technique involves specific manual thrusts to the spine. The direction, speed, depth and angle used with each adjustment are the result of analysis and thorough understanding of spinal mechanics. By improving spinal biomechanics, we can reduce interferences in the nervous system and virtually all joints of the body can be adjusted to help restore proper range of motion.

Webster Technique

Webster’s Technique, discovered in 1978 by Dr. Larry Webster, is a gentle, light chiropractic adjustment that focuses on stabilizing the sacrum and the SI joint to improve function in the nervous system. This technique works by releasing tension in the musculature and surrounding ligaments, creating balanced pelvic muscles and ligaments in pregnant women so that their body can better adapt to the changes of pregnancy and prepare for a healthy and safe birth. Because of its potential to facilitate safer and smoother deliveries, it has become more prevalent for pregnant women to seek chiropractic care to ensure that they can take advantage of the benefits that the Webster’s Technique offers. Dr. Mark is certified and trained in using this technique and will assure that you and your baby are comfortable throughout your entire pregnancy.
